Board-certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Freedman has been in practice for over 35 years.
Education and learning have always been of importance to Dr. Freedman. In 1979 he graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, obtaining his MD, and completed a Medicine Residency at University Hospital affiliated program in Newark. He also served as Chief Resident at Medicine-Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark.
Next, Dr. Freedman fulfilled a Pulmonary Fellowship at Temple University Hospital (TEMPLE-MED) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a Pulmonary Research Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJBH) in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
After completing his training in 1985, Dr. Freedman went into private practice. Currently, he is affiliated with the Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Group LLC, whose focus addresses transforming medical care into the realm of telemedicine.
Utilizing modern state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Freedman maximizes the use of home-based sleep testing and remote management of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) technology.
